The meal on the top is Goulash - the "dumplings" are really dense pieces of bread. The meal on the bottom is neck, sausage, potato slices, potato pancakes (that's what we call them) and cabbage. There's a difference between cabbage and sauerkraut. This is just cooked cabbage.

Egypt for Spring Break! I am totally jealous. This has to be the best time of your life. Going to Egypt would be a chance of a life time. It's is fun to see your pictures. I am glad your friends have hooked you up.

The old coot again saying the food is really presented in a picturesque way. But the one dish with the neck and stuff, even though colorful was not Taco Bueno fare. You are getting recipes for when you get back right?
